Liebster Blog Award
I’ve just been awarded my first blog award (tee hee) – isn’t it pretty? I was awarded this by YA writer Emma Pass, whose blog you can see here. So thank you very much Emma for this lovely award, so gratefully received.
Liebster is a German word meaning dearest, and the award is given to up-and-coming bloggers with less than 200 followers. These are the things you should do if you receive the award:
1. Thank the giver and link back to the blogger who gave it to you.
2. Reveal your top five picks and let them know by leaving a comment on their blog.
3. Copy and paste the award on your blog.
4. Hope that the people you’ve sent the award to forward it to their five favourite bloggers .
There are some lovely blogs out there, and some wonderful, funny and talented bloggers. So, without further ado… (do you like that?) I’d like to award the Liebster Blog Award to the following bloggers.
Jo Carroll, whose gapyearsthebook blog, includes fascinating posts on her new book, Over the hill and far away, her travels and all sorts of other stuff. She’s also incredibly supportive of other writers.
Jenny Alexander, writer of many children’s books, whose blog Writing in the House of Dreams, looks at dream inspired writing, and writers whose work has been inspired by dreams. This is a fascinating blog and very different to any other blog out there that I’ve come across.
Marnie Riches, a writer whose Mental Ramblings of a Horrormoanal Woman blog is hilarious and guaranteed to make me have to race to the loo at some point.
Colin Galbraith, crime writer, whose Freedom from the Mundane blog posts are always interesting and amusing.
Dan Smith, Dan Smith Blog author of Dry Season and Dark Horizons, for his diverse blog of writing related, and sometimes writing unrelated, posts, and lovely jam-packed website too.
Bye for now folks. Thanks again Emma, and see you all on Friday for my usual Blog on Friday!
