I’ve been painting and selling artwork for around ten years now, some of these are commissions and some are original pieces I’ve been inspired to create and then sold. I use a range of mediums but much of my work has been done in acrylics, ranging from 5″x7″ paintings to larger A2 sized canvases. I really enjoy painting on box canvas and working the painting around the edges – these are great for hanging as they are, without frames – but I also enjoy painting on board. This is a good, solid surface to work from and paintings fit perfectly into larger frames. I do a lot of my larger paintings on board in oil paints too – you get a glossier finish, but it’s a much slower process. My smaller pieces tend to be in acrylics, watercolour, aqua pencils and pen, and quite often begin as a rough sketch and are then built up into something much more colourful.

You can commission any size piece of artwork and in any medium. I’ve done everything from small 10cm x 10cm watercolour pet portraits to a 1m x 1m art deco inspired water-soluble oil painting. I can use a bright palette, limited palette, or monochrome colour scheme – it’s up to you. If you approach me with a request, we can discuss options, medium to be used, size etc. I will always work out a price before you commit to the work being taken on, and that price won’t change. Please contact me below if you’d like to enquire about a commission.
