A New Venture
Yes, I have finally taken hold of this thing that I have been sitting on for far too long – the thing that involves paint and brushes and big canvases and quite a bit of mess and hours and hours of complete absorption and pleasure. It’s strange how even when we know how much we love something, we seem content to deny it for so long. So, with three canvases complete and at the printers ready for A3 size prints to be made, I feel I am at a new beginning. There will be larger, A2 prints, available too at request, of these two paintings: ‘The Walk’ and ‘Leaf Fall’. All paintings will also be sold as originals – I already have a buyer for ‘The Walk’ though so this will now only be available as a print.
‘Cloud Gazing’ is too long to be frameable (not a word you’ll find in the English dictionary!) so I am reproducing the top section as an A3 print, but the original will be for sale too:
I will also be doing commissions of this type of thing (see below) on smaller box canvases. The second of these two paintings is one I have already completed as a commission:
I will have more details of my paintings soon, but please contact me via the ‘Contact Me’ tab of my website if you are interested in any of the above or leave your contact details in the comments section below. You can also see updates on my writing and artwork on my Facebook page here.
In the meantime, I have been interviewed by the lovely Lisa Shambrook as part of her ‘Creative Feature’ blog posts, so you can read more about my venture here. There are some other fab posts from other writers and artists on Lisa’s site too, so grab a cuppa and be inspired!
